About me:  

I began doing my own taxes as a teenager starting with my first job.  I didn't care if I was only getting $23 back or whatever it was - I did not want the government having any more of my money than it was entitled to by law!  So I taught myself and did my own returns every year after that.  When I moved to Hawaii in 1986 I took a professional tax course.  I then prepared returns for a national chain for many years.

Rates:

  • Are you an employee?

Basic state and federal return: $ 75
(includes W-2 income, bank interest and dividends, IRA deduction, standard deduction or Schedule A, the child care credit, earned income credit, state tax credits)


  • Self-employed?

Add $ 25 for Schedule C
